For the submission of MRI abstracts, an extended deadline is in effect until April 20, 2026. This deadline applies only to MRI abstracts; DGMP abstracts not on the subject of MRI have an earlier deadline.
To our trainee members: As in previous years, there will again be travel grants for trainee members who have submitted an abstract. Further information will be announced in the coming weeks.
We are also pleased to announce the introduction of a Medical Young Investigator Award at this year’s Annual Meeting. Following a strong positive vote by our members, this new award will be open exclusively to physicians and medical students and will be clearly distinguished from the Gorter Award. The Medical Young Investigator Award will comprise one first prize, endowed with 1000 €, underscoring its equal scientific value and recognition.
If you want to apply for either of these awards, please submit an extended abstract, CV, and cover letter to Submission Gorter or Submission Medical Award, as well as a regular abstract. Please be aware that we have a different deadline than the regular MRI abstracts, June 12th, 2026, for both awards.
