This year, we will have a joint annual meeting of the DACH‑ISMRM together with our colleagues from the DGMP in Bamberg (September 16–19). The DACH-ISMRM meeting will be from the 17th through the 18th of September. Registration for DGMP only, DACH-ISMRM only, or both is possible. The deadline for submitting MRI abstracts has passed (April 20th).
To our trainee members: As in previous years, travel grants will again be available to those who have submitted an abstract. Travel grants can be applied for with registration.
We are also pleased to announce the introduction of a Medical Young Investigator Award at this year’s Annual Meeting. Following a strong positive vote by our members, this new award will be open exclusively to physicians and medical students and will be clearly distinguished from the Gorter Award. The Medical Young Investigator Award will comprise one first prize, endowed with 1000 €, underscoring its equal scientific value and recognition.
If you want to apply for either of these awards, please submit an extended abstract, CV, and cover letter to Submission Gorter or Submission Medical Award, as well as a regular abstract. Please be aware that we have a different deadline than the regular MRI abstracts: June 12th, 2026, for both awards.
