As you all know, this year we will hold a joint annual meeting of the DACH‑ISMRM with our colleagues from the DGMP in Bamberg (September 16–19). For further details and the scientific program, visit the conference website.
To apply for the Gorter and Medical Awards, we originally had a joint deadline with the abstract submissions. Following repeated feedback that the previous deadline was scheduled very close to the ISMRM Annual Meeting, we have decided to extend the submission deadline. The new deadline for both awards is June 12th, 2026.
Please note that this extension applies only to applications for the two awards mentioned above. The deadline for regular conference abstracts has already passed and will not be extended. Submission of the complete application documents will now take place exclusively via the DACH‑ISMRM website.
Please consider all information on the newly instituted Medical Young Investigator Award. This new award will be open exclusively to physicians and medical students and will be clearly distinguished from the established Gorter Award. The Medical Young Investigator Award will comprise one first prize, endowed with 1000 €, underscoring its equal scientific value and recognition.
